June 6, 1991
Carrier of the miracle child.
Andréa Labonair was born in New Orléans, Louisiana in June 6th 1991 in the Labonair Family which was one of the two royal families which rule the Crescent Wolf Clan which itself run the French Quarter. As a baby she was betrothed to Jackson, the heir of the second royal family in order to unit the two bloodlines. Shortly after her birth her parents were killed mostly by her own people and Marcel Gerard (the leader of the vampires and an acquaintance of her parents) found her in her cradle. He took her, protecting her (following his rules about kids). And when he asked to a witch, Brynne Deveraux, possessed by Celeste Marie Helene Dubois to curse the Crescent Clan to stop them he spared Andréa. Instead to keep her for his own ends he gave her to Father Kieran who found her a new home. Andréa was adopted by another family, was renamed Hayley Marshall and was unaware of her past and her werewolf gene from. She triggered the gene when she was drunk on a boat trip and accidentally killed someone. She transformed for the first time in her adoptive parents' living room; after wreaking havoc on their house they kicked her out when she was 13. Hayley has been on her own since then, occasionally joining up with wolf packs but never staying anywhere for too long. She has a mark on her back which looks like a crescent moon which she had assumed was just a birthmark and thought nothing more of it. However, when Klaus sees it, he reveals that he has only seen it on a handful of others born from a specific bloodline of werewolves, who belong to a clan which once thrived in Louisiana.
"We can do this, we can break that pesky sire bond of yours and you won't have to listen to anything Niklaus tells you any more." "Bek's I'm not sure that's the best thing to do, I mean what if he gets all bloody mad about it and ends up chopping my head off?"
It was that simple conversation that started this whole process. Benji was going to break his sire bond and although he knew he had a choice, Bekah made it almost seem as if he didn't. Not that he thought she was going to force him into it of course, but she was so damned convincing, talking about how she could protect him if it upset Niklaus or how they would be in this together, Beks had been a good friend to him in the months of being a hybrid, and while he couldn't help but be thankful for everything Klaus had been able to do for him, I mean not changing was a really amazing thing, Bekah had a point. He would be free of this pull. This need and desire to do everything Klaus wanted him to do when he wanted him to do it. There was a good chance that his loyalties would still lie with Niklaus, I mean the man changed his life but he hated feeling like it was a forced loyalty, and that he had no other choice, he hated that he had no free will.
Benjamin could recall the past couple of months, the agony the pain. He didn't know why he was doing this, he didn't know why we was letting Rebekah talk him into doing this. His body was aching and bruised, the pain was something he had never experienced and yet he kept coming back to it, he couldn't help it. He had begged to quit a couple of times. Tears streaming down his face as he each individual bone in his leg began to break. He had recalled a many times where the pain would be so intense that he would black out. Just not be able to continue and pass out. His body on fire when he came too. "Bekah, I can't, please it hurts." He would beg, pleading with her to just allow him to keep the sire bond, no matter how big of a pain in the ass it was.
Benji took the steps of the Mikaelson Residence two at a time. He was here to see Rebekah, something that wasn't uncommon now and days. They have been working to break his sire bond for over three months now, and they have been getting together more frequently to do so. The sessions were getting closer together and the pain of changing was getting worse. It wasn't like it was something he would ever get used to, ever bone in your body breaking individually was a terrible feeling, but having to do it over and over and over for the goal of not being sired to someone, it was enough to drive you mad.
Benji knocked the door with his right hand as he reached for the door knob with his left. Benji often just walked inside of the mansion, in fact most of the hybrids seemed to. Maybe not as often when Niklaus wasn't around but when you actually took the time to get to know the other members of this family, you could do things like just walk in. "Rebekah, I'm ready for this bloody session, even though it's probably going to kill me." He called out, knowing that if she was in the house she would be able to hear him. He didn't mean it seriously, obviously this wasn't actually going to kill him, but he liked giving Rebekah shit, I mean this was her idea after all.
